I would say 1 litre of oil per 100 miles is excessive and then some. Iirc some car makers reckoned 1 litre of oil per 1000 miles was okay.

1 litre of oil in 100 miles needs further investigation. Any leaks around the charge air system need sorting, if oil can leak, then so can pressurised air. Whatever the amount of oil consumed internally, (and yours is high!) it should not reach...

Thanks for the reply. It was in a garage the week before Christmas and got that cooling fan replaced due to leaking ( It looks like the mechanic never washed around the oil cooler) could be the old water but the water level does not drop now and...

Hello there I have a Range Rover sport 2013 v6 and the air intake pipes have a fair amount of oil in them and has formed a puddle on top of the oil cooler has anyone had anything similar to this?
