I took mine out alone, gearbox and transfer seperately with this kind of motorcycle lift, normal jack and a lot of wood blocks.
To put it in I bought an engine crane and used it from drivers side (left) thru the lever hole and put it in as one...
That gearbox / transfer combination is fecking heavy.... I did mine on the drive, on my back, and I struggled. I used an engine crane through the gear lever hole, and a chain, plus a heavy duty jack.

Do you have an engine crane?
If so, in through the passenger side door to take the weight of the gaerbox.
But you may actually find it easier to take the engine out.
