Hi I want to touch up and the galvanise dip my entire series 3 109" chassis and was wondering if anyone knew of any good places that may touch up the welding and would galv dip my chassis, around the Manchester area ?
Also as a rough idea how much this would cost ?

I have a 109" 1982 (see below) and I am upgrading it with bench seats in the back and making it just a generally really useful car for myself.

I think I might go for the 2.5 non turbo from what everyone is suggesting in order to keep some originality but get a lot more functionality from the car. The car should look good and I am respraying it in all it's original colours, and I still have old military style touches all over from camo...

Don't get me wrong with this I want to keep all the original design and looks of the series 3 because I think it is one of the coolest looking cars I have ever owned and is something I'll be keeping for years !!
But I am torn between making it more modern and putting an engine in it that does...

Yes after paying less than 1/20th the amount for my 1982 LWB than my new Defender I don't want to cause damage to either :P haha.
Anyone have any suggestion on good, easy, cheapish upgrades for playing around with my new 1982 series 3 ? (One of my own first full upgrades haha!!)

A few questions on both:
1) the 2.5 non-turbo do you think it will still be powerful enough though if I am pulling my trailer, or have the back fully loaded, or taking it off-roading ?
2) I don't think the engine is too tired because it has only done...
