Im have rented the nanocom for a week only, i wont be able to replace the bcu this time i think. Im thinking to try drill, force open the doors somehow, and replace all the locks , deactivate the whole central locking inmobiliser etc etc...
so I have got the nanocom finally delivered, I did plug it and disarm the superlock and write the settings on the bcu, but it doesnt disengage the doors. i tried activating and deactivating the locks, unlock and superlock options in the settings...
I will give these two options a go. Hopefully, I can make it work with either, otherwise what a shame to have to get rid of a car for this design flaw. Much appreciate the help @sierrafery
Will try the same process on the tail gate, which I think is the only one I can have access from the inside. What about a nanocom to disable it? would that be an option? I can rent one on ebay for a week pretty cheap
"be aware, the extra wires must not be connected to anything" This suggests me I should remove the extra wires from the connector but I guess is to make sure not to feed them voltage.
No your English is good, and I can fix stuff, just having...
Ok, i have a couple of doubts before i proceed. When u mean the extra wires cannot be connected to anything… should i pull all of them out of the actuator or need to cut them all and join after the procedure.
What would u use to give the 12v and...
Damn, I am good with circuits, and following instructions can be done for sure. Would it be a good call to try to use a nanocom before going any deeper into the electricals?
I press the remote, twice and the system works (like in you the receiver gets the signal and try to unlock) but none of the door locks open. I still need to use the actual key to get inside the car.
A bit of progress report. Bought and fit the new fusebox, and I can open and start the car, the immobilizer seems to work, and when I press the key from the outside, the light inside and alarm system work.
However, the central locking is not...
That fusebox was hurt by water ingress based on the pic in post #4 and an immobilisation was quite imminent regardless of your actions(post #5) so replace it with a good one following the procedure(post #12). Good luck
It looks like the inmobiliser has kicked in now. I was pulling out the fusebox without removing the battery, I didn't pull any connector whatsoever but maybe some cable moved or disconnect a bit. 😓
I'm trying to buy a decent one from ebay, but I see a lot of different part numbers for the same fuse box.
YQE000110, YQE103830, YQE000250 ETC... will all of them fit? They look the same to me.
Looking at the electrical diagrams pdf can't tell...
Thanks for the quick reply @sierrafery. You mean the fuse itself or the circuit board?in any case Ill check and replace that fuse and report back.
For the signals, they have been intermittently fully working, as now, when I push the paddle I...
Hi everyone,
Firstly thanks so much to everyone on this forum, so much knowledge that has helped me a lot so far in fixing all the lil disco problems I have had so faR. Luckily not so many so far after two years of owning it….. now I am having a...
