Mmm yes a switch to isolate all power from battery a very good idea if you no its there!! I didn't but now I do I no if I get electrical fault when driving ie smoke from where it shouldn't be I can cut all power!! That's gotta be gud!!

Yeah have connected lead from - on battery to engine block and had power to ignition for first time. When turned key to start just clicking from starter ! 12.8v on battery ! Gonna clean earth straps and see if that works!

Yep got all usual straps and 1 already from starter to engine gonna start cleaning them up later will let you no how that goes.

That's wot I thought good battery have put jump start on and didn't make any difference !! Would a bad earth just happen over the time of 1hr ? To course total power cut ?? Do I need to pull all earth straps off clean ect? They all look good to me. ?? But like I said earth straight from battery...

Ok folks just been out to the beast as suggested by mhm run earth from battery to engine block hey I got power to all !!! Turned key to start engin and just had clicking as if battery flat! Still reading 12.70 on meter though, gonna put it on charge now. If earth problem and all straps look ok...

:confused: ok muliteter bought battery reading 12.80 from +\ - , when I put earth prob on chassis no reading! Took live feed of starter motor (all the electrics are connected direct to starter) and tried to get reading, again when earthed direct to battery 12.80 reading earthed to chassis 0...

Have checked all earth straps again this morn all are good no corrosion or loose fits, no cranking at all a total power cut to everything!!! Am off now to buy a volt meter to test ingnition connections ect. Will let you no how that goes. Cheers

Yep all fuses are good had box changed about 4weeks ago for blade fuses have checked and all still good! .
