UJ is worn out but Flange is beyond repair. Does anyone know where I could get a replacement flange on it's own? (everyone wants to sell a new prop!). Alternatively does anyone in the Gloucester area have a spare (good or broken) propshaft- I can collect (in my 4X2).

:oGuys, thanks very much for your helpful comments. Had to give up and take family to France for holiday so have only just read them. 1500 miles later and the Disco behaved perfectly. Will post progress when I can fit in time to attempt repair again.

Have oil leak from rear diff at its front where the prop shaft is attached. There is no relavent information in my 'Haynes' manual. I have removed the prop shaft and am left with a flange that has a location spigot (for the prop) which has a small thread in its centre (is this to...

To bush or not to bush, this is the question? Whether to suffer the springs and potholes of outrageous road surfaces: or to take up spanners against a pile of splitting rubber, and by sawing end them?-.....:p:p
