Is it worth replacing the whole injector, or will a nozzle change and clean up work ok?
I’ve not done much mileage in the 4yrs I’ve owned but there’s 160k on clock... plus Speedo wasn’t working when I got it so who knows true miles.
And last of all.. I think.. do I need an ultrasonic bath...

Pretty sure it's a defender engine , I do remember reading somewhere about the difference ( can't remember now what was said ) but I do remember thinking I must have a defender lump ??!!
Don't suppose you know seal part number?.. I ordered the most expensive ( assuming that's the best ?)

Yeah I think I will. Otherwise with my luck the clutch n oil will go the day after I put everything back.

Can't remember mate. .not pricey so I took front off and replaced while I waited for rear to turn up

I was supplied a front .. not a rear from paddocks. Hence the length difference

So next question is.. while the transfer box is out do I remove lt77 aswell , do clutch while there and sort what I suspect to be rear crank oil seal leak. ( dripping from around bell housing ) ????
