Yeah they're very focussed on it. I didn't get any stationary jolts. Tick over and idle in neutral, and in gear with the clutch disengaged were both normal. The 'jolts' I got occured when pushing the power over 3k revs or so.
As a bit of further info. The garage have replaced the crank position sensor (but not the plug) without any improvement in the issue. More evidence of the issue not being electrical?
