The lock was completely mangled unfortunately plus with the tailgate lock not working either I decided to change them all (just the tailgate & ignition left to do now) fuel cap and drivers lock barrels swapped today :)

The fobs work but the drivers lock looked like someone had a go with it with a screwdriver at some point and the tailgate lock wouldn't work either, so I was worried if the fob ever failed or the car battery went flat I'd be locked out! I've managed to change the drivers barrel today...

Mine's still got his prop shafts, he's an 02 plate but only done 45k miles & as far as I can see nothing much has been done! There's just quite a lot of age related little bits need TLC, like locks & seals etc. I'm getting there bit by bit ;)
