i have done about 15 rover head gasket and this is the first only i have timed up after taking the head off

been told by rover that you can seal them back in
with some blue sealer they say when the head is back on they should not move and they wil seal

after taking thr head off my freelander the wet liners have moved when i turn the crank to time it up
what should i do
please help

mine been wet too
my problem was water was getting in by the rear light

ok then
but it ony makes the noisy when the clutch is up when you press the clutch it gose a way when you have the clutch up the thrust bearing is not going round only gose round when the clutch is pressed

hi could any one helpme
just got a freelander 1.8 petrol s reg
there is a noise from the gearbox i think
when sitting still with the engine running there is a noise but when you put the clutch down it gose a way is it the trust bearing or the gearbox
