    When this happened to me it was a break in the cable from the switch on the gear stick under the gear shift gaitor.

    Took it to town (nearest marina) to get 100 ltrs water, took this back to boat then let it rest.

    Mine is a 1.8 es petrol. Just done front brakes, new calipers. Anti roll links, lower suspension arms for mot. 138711 miles since sept 2001.

    Hello all

    I have been a member since 2012 yet this is my first post to say hello. Is it reasonable to have to change the anti roll bar links every two years on a freelander es 1.8 petrol, never been off road.
