Just got a 2001 td4, while doing all the general initial mods I noticed there's a lot of diesel around the injectors, The run off pipes look damp, so I presume this is where it is coming from, just checking there isn't anywhere else it could be coming from before I order any parts,

Just been out in mine again and I can hear what sounds like the turbo spinning up, now I can't remember hearing that before, is it possible that removing the guts of the egr (thereby allowing a lot more airflow) it is allowing the turbo to spool up quicker???
