Agree! Lived in the Middle East for 5 years and my last car was an Aston DB7 - since coming back to Blighty and acquiring a P38 you are dead right!!! Happy days :-)

OK an update: It was the fuel pump. Got quoted GBP 125+VAT from a local motor factors... ended up getting a new one from a place near York for 40 quid including the VAT! Bought a Dremel and cut an access hatch and replaced the pump - now perfect :-)

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I have just bought a new fuel filter (and a battery charger!) so will try these suggestions. If I ever do get it started, a new fuel pump is on the shopping list! Cheers Sean
