I did all of the ones for the stereo, if you can see the image I posted there were 3 or 4 wires which weren’t connected to anything so I left them in the original connector box. I didn’t do the EAS block yet but will do when I get the time.
Sorry can I just query that. I crossed over the right and left door amps to rule the amp out. When you say there may be a problem with the left channel of the amp do you mean from the head unit? I don’t have the tools to remove the head unit so...
It’s got an SRS tag on the seats so probably right there. I steered clear of everything when I was making good the wiring, good to know what it is though!
I have soldered and insulated the joints on the connector, the problem is still there. Does the other connector have any bearing on the speakers or is that the one for the EAS?
So do I now do the right hand one?
Thanks for the rapid response. Yes I already tried the good speakers on the left (distorted side) and it’s not duff speaker/s but hadn’t checked the connectors in the A pillar. Just had a look and 3 or 4 pins are showing signs of corrosion...

The majority of the speakers were shot, it’s got the 3 front, 2 rear, 2 subs config and volume on the steering wheel which I believe makes it the high end...
