I have a similar problem,I have replaced the uj in back prop,other 3 uj ok ,about 1/4 turn of play front prop to transfer box,lot of noise after changing gear and letting up clutch clonking fromgearbox/transfer box. Any Ideas on working out which is at fault

Sounds like trapped air,Take cap of resevoir and use a piece of wood or pipe and wedge pedal down and leave overnight.under this constant pressure any trapped air will come to top and when you let pedal up it should be solid

ok everyone has persuaded me,I will leave series front on ,now just to change master cyl,and rear prop front uj

Do you have to change front wings or are series 3 and defender wings the same.I am also thinking of changing my series3 front.minew was built in Holland with refurbished defender chassis,series 3 body on top
