Hi All Problem Sorted. Wireing behind the engine had warn through, the wires were part of the loom for the EGR system and the brown wire to the starter solenoid. It had warn through on a bracket at the rear of the engine. Got some slack in the loom and lifted it over the rear of the engine...

Hi Just put a new lift pump on my 300tdi. Just depressureise the system then undo the bolts. Hack saw the pipes that the old nuts that hold the fuel pipes on, pop them onto your new pump then the crush rings then bolt it all back together, bleed and start.:D
