hi I have a range rover l322 4.4. 2004 with LPG. I have recently had problems starting the car in petrol.
My garage changed the fuel filter and fuel pump and the car was fine for 1 week.
However, the problem came back again after these repairs. Had the AA out. Car would start on LPG but not petrol. AA checked everything and recommended taking the car back the garage.
Took the car in and when it got there the car started on petrol. Obviously an intermittent problem. I left the car with them. They checked wiring to the new pump and found no faults. When they started the car it did so first time on both petrol and gas.
I have had the car back now for 1 day and it seems to be ok.
I have bought an Autel Maxisan diagnostic reader and the code P0005 is coming up.
This code is Fuel Shutoff Valve. A control circuit open.
Please can someone tell me what this means and is this related to my intermittent petrol starting problem?
