Can a transfer box off a Defender R380 gearbox be used on a LT77 gearbox without any mods?

Turn the ignition on, the ignition warning light does not come on. Start the engine, it runs fine as normal,turn the ignition off, (and now the unusual bit),the ignition warning light comes on. It's a 2.5td 90, it's only happened a couple of hours ago, anyone got any ideas as to whats happened....

will a 200tdi disco engine complete with its radiator & intercooler drop straight into the engine bay of a 1988 td defender. i know an exhaust conversion is needed but do you need longer/different hoses to the disco rad/intercooler or must a defender rad/intercooler be used...

Does anyone know if a starter motor off an early 2.5N/A diesel 110 will be ok to use on a 1988 2.5 TD 90?

Anyone else encountered any problems trying to fit the heater unit to bulkhead seal for a Defender (F reg). The one supplied by Landrover Part No.STC952 simply does not fit.
