Thanks for this, have now said HELLO, just got excited. Thanks for the possible heads up but why would it go after a month of perfect driving after the mechanics took of the front two wheels to replace the pads? Seems strange.

Should have posted here first but forgot in my haste. I live on top of the Pennines in Yorkshire, UK and have bought my first Land Rover Freelander. All my neighbours have them and now I have one, you need them where we live on top of the UK.

Just had to take my Freelander 1 (52 plates) in after calipers froze on right wheel. The engineer said a slider had failed to the piston and they replaced both the brake pads etc on front wheels (all under the warranty). Now, 24 hours later the left wheel is knocking like its a tumble dryer full...
