Finally I changed the converter with HD one, but the car is moving extremely low now .... I mean when I leave the place, you must press harder on the accelerator :confused:

Ok, Thank you for wasted doubt regarding acquisition a wrong TC.... The plate didn't arrive yet... ( I'll check it as soon as I will received it )

I receive the new TC from Ashcroft, but seems to have 6 hols for bolts....

Thanks for the tip. I send a e-mail to Ashcroft, and I choose HD TC. !

Ooops, In this case, I ll forget about.....I saw that a torque converter is around 1400 GBP, and since I found a V8 gearbox complete with 500 eur., I thought that worth it ..... But I have to made too many changes.

In order not to open a new threat, I`ll ask a question regarding torque convertor : can I use a V8 one instead of TD5? I saw that the gearbox are the same.....

..... meaning you don`t have anymore the bleed valve or you cut just the filter part? I ask you because I remove it, and the the car start and run excellent, but I saw that the fuel start to dripped out, therefore I put it back.... and the fuel pump start again to make strange noises... So...

.... and what happened? I just removed tonight this valve! I replaced yesterday and in the morning I couldn start the engine. After a day of trying, I finaly remove it and now it's running, but I wonder on long term, what damage can create? Since when you removed, how the engine is running now?

Hello everybody from SE of Europe, more precise from Romania. My name is Bogdan and I own a Disco2 from 2002, TD5 auto. Hope that information from this forum will help to keep the Disco running, and somday I will help also other apprentice (like me now) with informstions and triks. :)
