My 2001 TD5 has a very annoying engine shake at about 1350 Rpm,more so when the engine is cold.This roughness transmits itself up through the gearstick and drives me bonkers:eek: :eek: :eek: .Any more or less Revs and it is fine.Is this just a TD5 Quirk or can it be sorted?? Bob.

Update!!!!!! I have tried towing over a long distance this week with about one ton up:eek: :eek: :eek: and I have decided that the standard gearing is about spot on when the vehicle is under load.So I can forget about altering the diffs etc!!!!!. My Disco needs an overdrive:eek: I realise that...

I have a 2001 TD5 and I use the cruise control a lot:eek: However i have noticed that every now and then usually weeks apart the cruise just packs up whilst driving:confused: .If i stop the car and re start it the cruise control starts working again:D What could this be???? Bob.

Has anybody tried the stick on trim enhances that are being advertised on e-bay?You can get them in Walnut/aluminium effects etc.If these things are any good i quite fancy trying the aluminium effect ones.They stick on around your heater outlets and the central dash area. Bob.

I have a Td5 2001 manual.Evertime i get up to about 50MPH I keep wanting to change in to sixth gear!!!! Can you get a six speed gearbox for the TD5 or is there a way to make the fifth gear a bit taller like an overdrive????? Bob.
