I can't work it out ,only thing I can think of is they did not use the template and used the horazontal strut on the inside as a setting out point. Well I will go in today and see what they say and let you guys know,thanks for the pics on how it should have been done marmaduke I'll use these !!!

Thanks for the pics ,my template was from massi ,Masai said the template was suitable for their windows as well as genuine ones. Cut out vairiations were the corners depending on what windows you had.

That was my reaction ,there should be no silicone round the edge like that ,and for position ,I even give them the template I got ,I checked the template when it come and it was correct ,am I wrong in thinking they should check position before cutting? I think they cut it out with an axe can...
