I’ve done the lower, the play was on the joint between the column and the middle column? If that makes sense? Anyway “fixed” it for now

Both batteries were full charged… my first check ha! It was off a 15 too so should have worked but god knows, I’ve “fixed” the old one for now as I need it for work Monday.

I know right! I’m new to owning an LR and god they’re not easy ha! I’m a mechanical fitter and have worked in cars for years… guess it’s time to buy a gap tool

Hi there manual, yes changed the whole thing I just swapped the old for the new to me part, whilst the positive on the batter was disconnected No diagnostics

I don’t have a gap tool 🤦🏽

Good Afternoon all! I posted an earlier thread about changing my steering column on my 2015 Discovery 4 as I had play in it. It involved taking off the steering wheel. Now it says steeling lock on, the lights on the dash go on hear a slight click/whirring noise like it wants to start then just...

It’s got play in it so I have to correct the steering abit whilst driving
