New Disco, no underseal and useless paint

If you think its an issue with the quality of the vehicle then use your warranty, it's not a dealer issue its down to landrover, any dealer will fix it they will get paid by landrover. Might want a 3 yr old disco 3 when you come round to sell it and wouldnt want to find it had gone rusty cause...

    Flooding Great news.

Just read the Solihull Times from the weekend even employees of LandRover make this mistake, a chauffeur in a RRS managed to drown it in the local ford on a shortcut to the Airport with guests in the Car, probably showing off, Even though the ford marker was showing 3ft depth he gave it a go...

    Weight on rear door

Wouldnt do it unless the spare has been moved to a wheel carrier seperate from door, that way the bike rack will move out the way so you can open the door. Slobs right most Safari doors end up knackered due to the spare whhel alone. (With Time)

    Landy a little wonky!

The front would be much stifer as rear springs are different to cope with the change in loading front springs loading doesnt change much with towing or carrying, vehicle would sit straight not in use but would lean to Drivers side with one occupant in.

Have pity - help a newbie please!

Station Wagon 2nd Row Seats Fold, in the recent ones so rather than removing them you could fold them out of the way, against the back of the front seats. Solves all your problems. Station Wagon will be more expensive but should be in better condition (Less likely to be abused by a commercial...

Ford on road to possible sale of Land Rover

    Wiper electronics....

Grunts advice about the parking cam is the one, I had it with a TR6 that did exactly the same, and as that nicked its Wiper mechanism from a Landy/Mini I would imagine its the same issue, on that one the cam was spinning on the motor shaft and a new cam was needed.

    What's this?

The three prongs on the dashboard is the immobiliser override, the Fob on your keyring would appear to be as LAZY thinks a transponder for the immobiliser.

    What's this?

chances are its been bypassed due to being faulty or the immobiliser kicks in if you touch the fob on the sensors, my mate has got one on his VR6 that appears to be the same ill ask him how its supposed to work, better be quick hes just chopped it in for a 90

    What's this?

Sounds like an immobiliser system. A lot of the Cat 1 systems have that kind of setup, Pics would help though.

Fuel gauge goes to zero when I brake

It sounds like you've got a big voltage drop when the brakelights are on. A multimeter wil confirm that. Then chase where the short is. I'd go for the bulbs first, always seem to be the delicate bit in electrics.
