Hello, The gear box its self isnt very heavy but the torque convertor is when in place. I have just fitted a 2nd hand box in my P38a 4.6 HSE, I would recomend taking the transfer box frist which quite easy, then take the box out. GOOD LUCK :D

The battery inside the ecu leaks with age and eats into the the ecu, I have seen people replace the ecu with realys to get the seats and mirrors working.

Frist thing I was told at collage was try thr clutch plate on the shaft before fitting it to the engine. I forgot once and spent half a day trying to push a tractor back togeather with the wrong plate in it.;) I only put a very small amount of copper grease on the shaft, I have seen clutchs...

Thank you all for your help!:) I did notice that the compressor felt very hot when I took the cover off for a look. Thinking about it does seam to take a long time to pump up if she been standing a few days. I think I will resaelthe compressor any way and get the system reset.:confused:
