Update on starting issue. after adding extra earth strap, nothing changed. I then checked started motor, fuel line, fuel pump and all valves/ filters possible. Still had no luck. UNTIL, we found the cam sensor was faulty?? As soon as this was replaced, no issues at all.

Hi all, bought my first Freelander 2 weeks ago. 07 2.2 auto And it wasn’t starting in the cold. Replaced battery (as it was goosed) aswell as glow plugs!!! But still having issues on initial start up! Could this be a fuel pump issue?
