Thanks all - the box was replaced onnly about 20,000 miles ago so shouldnt be too worn. I'll check the mounts and springs as suggested, and drive her more gently!

Hi - does anyone else experience their SIII jumping out of gear on occasions - usually only in first or second gear if a a "bump" is experienced, often on a sharp change of incline? Is there anything I can do to prevent this (other than holding on to gear stick)? VMT for you suggestions:)
