It's been a labour of love all the mechanics are done it runs well the suspension and steering are now all good I even sorted the lpg. I promised my self to sort out the paint last I'm preparing my self for a roof respray it's been 30 years since I sprayed cars so practising on the smaller bits...

Yes iv got a write up on here and you will need the timing kit the cheap ebay kits have a tool missing and are poorly made but do the job my engines running like new just need ulez scrapped so I can drive it

New door handle covers they came in gloss black. Little rub down, undercoated, base coat then clear coat.

Continuing with the colour coding I got hold of a rear lower tailgate trim panel. It came in silver/grey I debadged it rubbed it down coat of primer,coat of base, couple of coats of clear bit of a hand sand with 2000 grit then a polish

You can just fill.up from an lpg tank I can still get it if I'm near a friends house it's not worth the round trip just for lpg.
By next year I think it's pretty much fazed out as road fuel so I mite remove my lpg tank as well shame as I only got it working properly last year

It's the best engine they made so it's pretty bomb proof the rest is just the usual L322 body rot issues at the rear arches and sub frame

The cranks snap have a look on YouTube for
LRTIME they are just about to strip an engine down in a d4 with adblue. Seems its on its 2nd engine all ready.
