I had the same prob a sticky calliper it was just because the pads were worn causing the piston to come too far out, Replace the pads and put plenty of copper grease on everything but the disc, should solve the problem. If all else fails a new calliper is only £25

Probably wasn't the fuel pump that was the main fault more the ECU get a diagnostic plugged in

I've taken the thermostat off and it's failed big time! Warped on 2 sides! Any ideas on where I can get a replacement? Seen one on eBay bit it's an auction and they won't end it early!!!

Hi, I've just replaced the outlet radiator hose (the one with the bleed screw) for my 1.8k and It still seems to be leaking but I can't tell where from??? It seems to be from the engine outlet (behind the water pump) but what is this called? Cheers

Real slow crank like the battery was dying (batts fine) upon checking in the afternoon the rear rad hose has split and now no coolant at all replacement coming on Monday :-D
