    Seatbelts in a rag top

Nice Series. Can see how you've done the brackets but I have not got the kit to fabricate something similar. May go down the Exmoor route. Looked on the wesite and they have lap belts. Are these legal for the front seats? Good idea with the tailgate also. I take it that the hinges are from...

    Seatbelts in a rag top

Converting the Series III to soft top. The question is: where do I anchor the seatbelts at shoulder hieght? The sticks that hold the canvas do not appear to have any brackets to hold the seatbelts. Any ideas? Apart from putting in a roll bar that is. Thanks

Can't go wrong with NATO? !!!!!!!!!! Yes you bloody can. Got mine to stick (eventually) by Hammeriting it prior to application of NATO green. Don't use primer! See previous post re :NATO green

    Nato Green? Inthe Bin!!!!!!!

Hi there, just had a look on the Hammerite site. They do a smooth green (not bad). But you can never tell what it's like until it's on. Also, when it's on it puts up a fight if you want it off. Can you paint over Hammerite with Acrylic or cellulose paint without it reacting? Might nip out...

    Nato Green? Inthe Bin!!!!!!!

OK. Managed to get the NATO green paint off the Series III. Back down to primer. What now? Want something I can brush or roller on. Also it must be fast drying. Have to do the job outside. After all it is summer and will of course p**s it down every other day. Might go down the Hammerite...

    Nato Geen Paint Problems

Just seen your post @1941hrs. Luckily I've not put any paint near it. Just got the flakey stuff off and tried to make it as presentable/acceptable for the NATO paint. Promise I'll leave it for at least a week. No wrinkling or crazing apparent. Just blistering in patches. Is there anything...

    Nato Geen Paint Problems

Thanks for that. Just sanded the whole vehicle down again and given it a wipe with thinners. Will let it dry as best I can then have another go. Will leave it to breathe as you say. At least a week. Understand what you say about the paint curing but when I applied the NATO paint it was on top...

    Nato Geen Paint Problems

Just had info about the paint I bought. It is synthetic. So why are 2 synthetic paints reacting with each other? lrb2 (above) had the same problems. Looked at the Series III this morning. Has dried out after the rain of yesterday and it looks sh**e. Lots of tiny holes in the paint where...
