I'd thought about the tubular steps reducing break over angle but not really about getting wedged in as you describe - despite the tight spots on that lane!

Made it look like a 1970s era Dr Who space ship by trimming out the underside of the roof in silver coated acoustic foam.
And temporarily fitted new Buffalo Board on the roofrack - to be finished with countersunk machine screws after I've done the sunroof and healing in a few weeks.

Removed the front section of headlining from my 110 CSW (removed the rest a couple of weeks ago) and stuck thermal / acoustic matting over most of the exposed metal panels in preparation for Lasalle Headlining kit when it arrives in a few weeks.
Unfortunately I cannot refit the rear view...
