served my time as a joiner just so i could get to sea,went to sea as deckhand on trawlers ect,sign,ed on as cook for couple of trips,had enough,went back on the tools,went into steelworks for the winter,took crane driving course while working for B S C and never looked back,i have driven crawler crane,lorry mounted mobiles up to 350 tons,+crawlers to 450 tons,took early retirement through ill health [accident], health is a lot better nowadays,still pottering on thank god,still got me sense of hu
