Took the side panel off and saw the fluid gently dripping from the wiring, traced it to the underneath of the washer bottle. Then filled the bottle up to a mark to see if was losing fluid, came back half an hour later and it had gone down considerably and the footwell filling up again. Disco...

Thank you. I have a strong suspicion that is what it is. I will give it a go later and report back.

The passenger footwell carpet in my Disco has suddenly become saturated with windscreen washer fluid. I have taken up the carpets and the thick sponge underneath to find the footwells awash with the stuff. I have done a search and there is talk of a split pipe to the rear washer but I wonder...
