Hi all just an update I had the jeep up on the ramp and Tues out it was my near side tie/track rod had went at the ball joint cheap enough fix picked one up online for 26 quid and done the work myself had a bit of a time getting the old one off ended up just cutting it off with a grinder job...

holiday chicken hi mate if anything it sounds like it's coming from the right side wheel area but then again could just as easily be from the centre it is deffinetly not the left side it's either from the centre ie diff (and I bloody hope not as that sounds expensive) or from the right side...

just in case this helps I forgot to mention that when driving on the motorway and the suspension drops Into motorway height the noise is much more pronounced than if left locked into normal height it does still happen but you can feel it a lot more when in motorway height if this has any bearing...

Hi Roy thanks a lot for your input funnily enough someone else pointed out it may be a bearing but with the irregularity of it and with it being only happening between the 50-60mph made me eliminate that from the process but will get it on the ramp when I get back home. again the bloke who said...
