    ....someone on here must have done a core plug replacement on a 2.5 DSE... or have some knowledge on the best/easiest way to get at it.... engine up? engine down? engine forwards? engine out?

    I was thinking same but can I not get to the others without removing engine? I hate the fact some nobber couldn't be arsed to put antifreeze in his car and is now making me drop my engine!

    Ok so the P38 I bought lasted 2 weeks before major working needed, core plug is leaking!! It is the 2.5 BMW diesel engine, rear most core plug, the one you can't get too without alot of hassle, on the back of the engine, above gearbox tunnel, behind a water pipe that feeds into the heater...
