Evening all, I'm trying to find a suitable oil for my 06 TD4. Haynes states 5w30 to ACEA A3/B3 but I am working in Spain right now and cannot find anything suitable. What's more important - 5w30? Or ACEA A3/B3...? Any help gratefully received, thanks BB

Thanks for the response. Done 120k. Not sure about the design of turbo, but it's a standard Freelander from 06 - one of the last before Freelander 2 was rolled out so I assume it's the more modern of the 2 designs. But then I know all about assumption being the mother of all... I'll have a look...

Thanks for all the replies...! I always wondered why the Dukes of Hazzard were always running away from the police - now I know! Maybe if they'd put a switch under the bonnet, they could have changed the horn to a single tone and they wouldn't have been in so much trouble all the time...
