Ah see....it's the delivery part that scuppers that offer. I mean, I would have to go to Turkey, order a ferry, wait six months for it to be built and commissioned, and only then would I be able to ship Cash to your fiefdom. Will keep you in mind tho' :)

Most reputable garages would preper to do a full chassis swap - for probably not much difference in price :)

I had issues with Sheilder over my D2 chassis...BUT...the series 3 bulkhead was fine. :)

Who is selling it? If it is the garage doing the repairs you may get a warranty period from them, or they may sell you a third-party warranty such as Black Horse. Their value is questionable imho :)

Well said @derwendolly I would just add that the frustration is magnified many times when certain members of one's family live 3000 miles away and yet try to dictate how (in my case) my mum's care should be on a daily basis. :rolleyes:

If you used it in the car then it will be down between the front seats. If you used it in the house check down the back of the sofa. :D Right....off to Murrayfield for a Guinness or three. :cool:
