Well after consultation with the local dealership it appeared that the only way was to force entry. Automatic centre punch deployed to bottom corner of drivers door glass and with some jiggling and fiddling I managed to reconect the rod from the lock which had disengaged. I got the door open...

I managed to lift the buttons on both front doors but to no avail. I will have a go at the rear o/s as suggested. I am in West Cumbria just outside Cockermouth.

No nothing is flashing. So it must be the microswitches, is there anything I can do to get around this. It really is getting frustrating. I have been locked out for a month now.

Its a 2001 model and I have been inputing the code as per the book including 4 turns anticlockwise. Time for a chat with the dealer I think.

Well this is how it happened. I went away for a couple of weeks and came back to a flat battery. The key did nothing either electronically or by turning it in the lock. I then backfed some power into the battery via the starter motor in the hope that this would sort the problem. Key code...
