Estate is extended body with larger boot space

I Understand estate in terms of cars, but when its on the insurance forms for a defender, it throws me a bit as one is classed as estate and is a car, yet another is classed as a 4x4 utility van but looks the same
Licence is standard up to 8 seats licence

B
It's just what was on the insurance forms
-
B
I'm sure I'll figure it out

So it's 2/3 seater or £10k insurance then? Bugger :(

Found a more appropriate place to post and cany figure out how to delete thread

Something like that :D
What if I just bolt the seats in when I need em? Reckon that'd pass with the insurers ?

So if it aint got windows it's a van? Just want to make 100% sure or it could cost me £9,000 :p

I want seats in it, for ferrying mates about and camping etc, so would no rear windows, but seats still keep it technically as a van?
