Another forum member had issues calibrating with his snap on so we did it with my foxwell.

No surprise there then :)

No, and if it's not a case of the wipers being on the spindle in the wrong place but is the motor not stopping in the home position, you may suffer battery drain problems.

OP has a thread going for battery drain :)

When you start looking at your FBH it would be better to start your own thread so as not to dilute this one from the OPs original issue.

Yes that is an excellent write up it's just a shame it's for the M47 engine so not for an L322 installation.
The L322 has a separate changeover valve to isolate the engine coolant so it can just heat the cabin.

It could be a faulty remote start module in the rear offside that's permanently applying 12v to the FBH and stopping it shutting down.

Yes L322. Apologies for missing that out.
Thanks for the reply. Really want it working again.

Did you follow the instructions in RAVE when you adjusted the bit through the drum?

Yep that's the one. They are renowned for being crap.

Seems likely, assuming its like BMWs (which i would guess it is) there is a hole you poke a screwdriver in to turn a starwheel to adjust them

It may need adjusting inside the brake drum even though they should be self adjusting.
