An update...new pipes replaced and wrapped in aluminium tape. Also set a trap and caught one. Hopefully trap and tape should do the trick! Don't think they've nibbled any other pipes thankfully. Thanks for all the comments. I'm a total newbie to all this :-)

They were quite worn so replaced them prior to MOT in Oct. Popped down to my garage and they gave me a small length to replace them again.

:-)I have just bought some traps so we'll see how it goes. Thought about wrapping the pipes in an aluminium insulation tape. If not joy I'll look at metal pipes.
