Thank you for this nugget, it fixed my loose mirrors too - did not realise the power fold even existed...
However... I tried it a couple of times and then they locked right in 🫣 and it's all changing to smart motorways where I am so driving down a extra narrow motorway lane with 50mph average...

I replaced my stereo/radio for a Bluetooth version with a hands free remote that goes on the steering wheel. Like you, impossible to find a modern one that matches the old sockets these days so I just got a stereo that I liked and then bought an adapter for the harness.
I've got a pre...

So runs fine but stalls if you let it idle? If you got a manual choke on it, see if it idles on half choke - could be fuel filters?

No no no..... This is all wrong... You've broken your Freelander 😭
The engineering on these includes a very important feature - the SDR (Self Destruction Regulator). This module ensures that as soon as anything is fixed, something else breaks - the beauty of this design is it gives you a...

Well the freebie got through the MOT... Only comment from the mechanic was that after he had dug through all the mud underneath, he discovered some very light corrosion of the sub frame.
Wasn't a problem but I asked him how best to prevent it getting worse and recommend cleaning it up and...

Hi Andy, thanks again for the offer, I've checked the connectors and they look exactly the same, I'll try and DM you in a mo and we can sort the postage if that's ok 👍
Many thanks for the advice, I'll give that a go for sure 😁

Thanks yes, that's interesting, thanks for clarifying 👍

Hello Andy, thanks for your help, they look perfect but I'll double check tomorrow to be sure. I don't suppose you have any heated seat switches as well so you? Passenger side has gone on mine so I've been keeping an eye out for those too but they don't come up for sale much.

Blue face lift Freelander without fog lights...
Grey facelift version with fog lights....
Am I missing something?
-
Just trying to get my head around this as my freebie is pre facelift. The lights you want, are these actually spots or are they fog lights?
I can see you've currently got fog lights on your Freelander but they're in a different place. But then in the pic you've shared of the spots you want...

Hello Andy, thanks for the offer, I appreciate it. Please see attached pic of the window switch, the cover comes off the module so I could also use an alternative switch module such as the sunroof or back window switch, and swapping the covers over.
Mine is a 52 plate pre-facelift model so be...

Nearside window decided to go down only but not up while driving home yesterday... So pulled the door card out, motor was fine so before I checked the wiring I thought I'd check the switches - swapped them over and it started working again so now gotta hunt a spare one down online...
Also...

Those spots don't look like standard Freelander kit... If you want those specific ones you might have to Google lens them and try and find them online... Else it might be easier to find spots which are the right size and make up a way to fit them.
Quite likely the loom already has the wiring...

All good ideas, thanks! We got out to the park and fed some pigeons (n rats) and did some jobs in garden and watched the whole of YouTube and so we're totally ready for a change up...
You've just reminded me that steering juice needs changing on the landy... Haven't ever done it before...

Not sure if there's a fred for dadvice here but wife sick in bed and I'm looking after the 3yo toddler... Already run out of ideas how to amuse him and still got to get through tomorrow... Any ideas to keep me and him both sane?
Yep the freebie has rust holes that need welding but can't...
