Freelander Mk1 TD4 ES 52' plate for sale Southampton - Tidy, clean, runs well

Just had a look, please see pics attached, there's a small patch of corrosion on the drivers door ledge. Passenger side isn't as bad although there is beginnings of a small mark. Apart from that I can't see any other corrosion on the shell.

@kevstar tis a long way, haven't been there for too long. @andyfreelandy - I've just taken a load of pics of the inside and added them to the post for you. LMK if there's any specific details or queries you have. Sorry the boot is a bit dirty, haven't given it a proper clean. Generally just...

Freelander Mk1 TD4 ES 52' plate for sale Southampton - Tidy, clean, runs well

So my freebie is going up for sale. It's been my daily commuter for a couple years now and been great fun. Unfortunately, it's coming up for MOT and I don't reckon it will make it through. If I could take it off the road for a month I reckon I could fix it myself fairly cheaply, but I don't...

Thank you, really appreciate that. Will definitely have a good look around! I'm also pretty sure my engine has a timing chain after doing more research. The biggest problem for me is that I use it daily so I'm limited as to when I can strip things down and really have a good look inside.

All good, I know you started it the thread with good intentions, just couldn't resist it 😉 I bought my freebie because it was a cheap workhorse and you get a lot for your money if you find one that works. Now it's lasted a couple years and I've put 15k miles on it, and I've started to get a...

So it's been up and running since replacing the alternator but ever since it's been worse at starting. Always been a bit of a bugger to start and suspect the injectors. But since this incident it's been significantly worse, I have to turn it over for longer or sometimes it takes a couple of...

    Freelander 1 Preserving the scarce ! FL1

This thread been on my mind a bit... Today and yesterday I been driving around Gloucestershire and Somerset in my FL1, and saw lots of Landies. We went up the Malverns, to Cirencester, Bath, Cotswolds, Darts farm and round about a bit and nice to see lots of Landies. I reckon every 10th...

I thought OP was joking when he asked about handbrakes. Did they used to come as standard? Mine came with a couple bricks which seems to work fine. What's all this handbrake "lever" business?

Unwisely, I read the last two posts while eating breakfast. I think that's the first time I've snorted an entire Weetabix out of my nose.
