Hey, It is a M62 B44 engine. And yes you are correct in assuming I did not use the expensive cam locking kit nor did I use the vanos gears. The cam cover gasket was sealed correctly with sealant etc. Oil has definitely not gone into plug wells. I've found one garage who will do the job...
