Hi Martyn, I've just had mine done by a mobile mechanic and he had to do it from above, this involves removing lots of parts to gain access. You can't access the bolts from below which would be much better.
Hi Hippo, thanks for replying. The mechanic had forgotten to connect the electrics back up on the top of the fuel filter. It was running fairly well considering. I think I'll service it myself next time.
If it's not a dodgy fuel filter I'm thinking it could be the large hose from the intercooler, there's a small oil leak near that. It's a 2.2 TD4 58 plate. Thanks
Hi everyone I have a Freelander2 which was was running fine but I took it to my local garage for a service and mot, now its not as responsive and doesn't kick down like it used to. Could it have an air lock somewhere?
