water pump and fan changed all seems to be good, only problem i have now is when blowers are on lo setting they keep blowing hot

tried the wedging something in the fan trick and it puts up no fight so im guessing its foo barred, will change water pump whilst im in there just to make sure

well it seems all is not ok with the rangey.had it out today with a trailer on the back weighing 1300kg and as soon as i got going over 50mph it boiled its water up and cut out, left to cool topped water back up and got going again, soon as i got upto speed again it boiled water up again so...

wow well anyways ive changed me my changed my turbo as that seemed to be low boosting and swilled out the intercooler with petrol removing any oil build up in it and now the car seems to be off, drop down engaging as it should

the garage i used there equipment wouldnt read the car does it require some specially software?

its in the garage today getting the radius arm bushes done so will get them to plug it in see what comes up

this car was stood up with a flat battery for 2yrs. then once put back on the road cost me a new key fob as that went down, dont know if this effects the problem i have in any ways

fitted new hose from manifold to sensor as when i bought car it had a stupid boost box that just caused car to run like a bag of s**t, so was disconnected i have also noticed that the car will start straight off the key when cold but soon as it is warm i have to still wait for the glow plugs...

i have a 1997 p38 2.5td having a few issues with the auto box 1. if you press the sports button it slows the car down instead of making it go faster 2. iv read about torque converters not locking in, when im at 60 mph and manually select 3rd gear the box aint dropping a gear and revving up...
