yeah i know that. to the other interested folks sorry i was a little vague its second hand and thats how i bought it and its from a 1998 RR p38 4.6 and am based in the north east

If in doubt take it to landrover authorised dealer i had a similar prob to this when i had mine and they sorted it in a jiffy!

YEAH!! it seems that if you mention something that might be going wrong or you think there might be a problem it seems a common issue with RR sports!! not a good start!!

AGREE great cars you just need big pockets but that goes without saying if your looking at a rangie!;)

Heres a solution for ya!! spend the couple of grand to do up your current beast and also get the L322 as long as its a vogue with ALL gadgets!! Ive got a smashing RR sport but TOTALLY regret getting rid of the p38:doh:

HA HA!!! nearly broke down on tuesday when the electronic rear brakes siezed on!! had to keep restarting the car about 5 times to eventually get it going!! Its only broken down 2 times in the 5 months ive had it!! alternator and loose why in the of the ecb unit??whatever that is!!:D
