Today i took into the GPS and stripped it off the car, it was badly corroded around the ground plane so cleaned it all up including the roof and rebuilt it all. Still no GPS signal! i checked fuses etc and all ok so do i now need to remove the battery terminal and if so will radio need a code?

Hey folks Got my 1st problem with my Range Rover, the sat nav is not picking up gps - I've tinkered about this afternoon with it and can't seem to get anywhere. Has anyone any suggestions please?:confused::confused: Its a 2008 Vogue if that helps any. David

It was my fitter that wanted the gearbox etc all done, he knows them pretty well and said about correct gearbox oil and change it around the 80k mark. I'll give them a shout for a price, I'm sure they supply NI. Thanks for the help

Cheers, hope not to be having to many problems :D Have it booked in for a full service gearbox and all also need a tower fitted wheres the best place to get a detachable with 13 pin plug? David:)

Yes i'd agree about tyres, the Toyo's are around 75% and the odd ball is new. I'd say the oddball isn't on long.

Whey Hey :):) Looks like i survived the J**P comment. Had a good look through the site and theres nothing really stands out around the 85k mark. My own mechanic said last night to change gearbox oil straight away if i buy it and not to panic about compressor and suspension as theres plenty of...

Hopefully i can log on tomorrow, site looks good plenty of info. Didn't think i'd like the Range Rover as much as i did! We do quite a bit of towing with a Hilux and wanted a bit more power. The Range Rover is effortless to drive its just a bit scry on the cost of maintenance
