Nice. I like the history. I have a old BSA. Somewhere... :rolleyes: Looking at the pump assembly I've concluded that the old filter (Dated 2013) was installed the wrong way round. I don't know enough to say if it was this that caused the leakage or the apparent damage to the plastic cradle...

Thanks hd3. I've now read a great amount of stuff about the fuel pump and filter..! One more question Is the setup in the picture correct? The arrow on the filter points in the same direction as the arrow on the plastic casing? Many thanks, Andy PS: What's the bike? :)
