Nice. I like the history. I have a old BSA. Somewhere... :rolleyes:
Looking at the pump assembly I've concluded that the old filter (Dated 2013) was installed the wrong way round.
I don't know enough to say if it was this that caused the leakage or the apparent damage to the plastic cradle...

One more question
Is the setup in the picture correct?
The arrow on the filter points in the same direction as the arrow on the plastic casing?

Hi folks! Freelander 2003 TD4
Discovered this device just in front of the drivers side rear wheel. I think it's the Lift Pump and Filter assembly. It has received a blow from underneath at some time and has started leaking a lot of diesel all over the rear of the vehicle. Apart from begin...
