Out of the frying pan and into the fire !! Turbo refit went well. Sourced used turbo from a place nr Galstonbury and Freelander works better than ever. A bit fiddly but pretty straight forward. Have now traded the Freelander for a similar model (Ahem) Mercedes SLK320...

First post on Landy Zone and I have owned a 1999 Freelander 2.0 L Diesel for 3 years !! This car is driven by my wife and has been bomb proof. That said I did my research and went for the 2 litre diesel rather than the petrol disaster ! I am now having to fit a new turbo as it let go big time on...
