Shall also mention that the gear selector is really slack, and when selecting drive in particular that it has two positions, first one saying you are then a slight movement and you actually select drive, with normal engine note change. Now would this and a iffy xyz gear switch to blame...

Brilliant chaps thank you, managed to spray some wd40 type substance on the xyz gear switch play around with wiring connection during my lunch break. Unable to check fluid level as need a 8mm? Allen key :confused2: but since this, it hasn't done it on way home (21 miles) and plus collecting...
